Food safety requirements

Food establishments need to implement the food safety requirements set by the Egyptian Food Safety Authority and obtain the accreditation of the National Authority, which is one of the specialized and independent bodies that was formed to develop legislation and oversight laws to ensure that the best level of food safety standards is achieved in the Arab state of Egypt.

Institutions that need to meet food safety requirements

Food establishments, their exporters, and all their employees who specialize in dealing with food in general (supply - production - presentation... etc.) – Food suppliers – whether raw materials or ready-made materials, dealers with food factories and specialists in importing raw materials – Factories and companies specialized in packaging food, whether citrus fruits, vegetables – Factories of all types and sizes, “meat, fish, dairy, etc.” -Hotels, restaurants, and new tourist facilities
